Slack Channel vs Thread, the debate rages!
We have experienced much discussion on the best way to approach incident response in Slack. Some claim a dedicated channel is the right way to go; to avoid distractions. Others say you should use a thread in a common incident channel; to aid in identifying related ongoing incidents. Still others say the priority or severity should dictate the approach; to get the benefit of both and avoid channel clutter.
